 Article Types

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles*

    * Electrical Engineering and Energy gives priority to publishing original research articles. In each issue, the proportion of research papers must not fall below 80%, while review and other article types must not exceed 20%. Submissions that do not comply with these limits may be returned to the authors at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.

Review articles are considered for peer review only under the following circumstances:

  • Manuscripts submitted upon formal invitation by the editorial office,
  • Contributions from internationally recognized researchers with strong academic reputation and influence. (Eligibility is assessed based on authors’ publications in high–impact journals indexed in WoS, Scopus, and the demonstrated global impact of their previous works.)

Manuscripts will be immediately rejected if they fail to meet any of the following criteria:

  • Scope – The manuscript does not sufficiently relate to the Aim and Scope of Electrical Engineering and Energy.
  • Research question and purpose – The objectives of the study and the research question are missing, unclear, or not adequately defined. The research problem should be presented with enough detail to be fully understood.
  • Methodology – A clear and well-structured methodology section describing the research design and approach is required.
  • Contribution – The study must make a meaningful contribution to the field and articulate this contribution explicitly.
  • Research ethics – Evidence of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or replication of already well-established studies will lead to immediate rejection.
  • Findings and discussion – The results must be sufficiently analyzed and discussed within a scientific cause-and-effect framework that supports the study’s purpose.

10. Note

  • Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
  • Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets.
