To improve the speed and efficiency of scientific communication, Electrical Engineering and Energy (ELENE) will transition from its current triannual publication schedule to a Continuous Publication model, effective January 2027.

Under this new publishing model, accepted manuscripts will be published online individually as soon as they have successfully completed the peer-review, editorial, and production processes. This approach significantly reduces the time between manuscript acceptance and publication while ensuring that all published articles remain fully citable with assigned volume, issue, page/article numbers, and DOI.

This transition reflects ELENE's commitment to providing a faster and more accessible publishing experience for authors while maintaining the journal's rigorous peer-review standards and publication quality.
