Electrical Engineering and Energy (ELENE) is seeking qualified and motivated academics to join its Editorial Board as Field Editors.

ELENE is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality original research. Field Editors will play an important role in maintaining the journal’s academic quality and supporting an efficient and rigorous peer-review process. Their main responsibilities will include:
* Conducting an initial editorial assessment of submitted manuscripts;
* Selecting and inviting appropriate expert reviewers;
* Monitoring and managing the peer-review process;
* Evaluating reviewers’ reports and providing editorial recommendations;
* Supporting timely, fair, and high-quality editorial decisions;
* Contributing to the development and international visibility of the journal.
Applicants should hold a PhD degree and have an established academic background, including a strong publication record in one or more areas within the scope of the journal. Previous editorial or peer-review experience is desirable.
